It is a simple abbreviation for Midi-pyrenees Association of Valorous Eastern cRICKeters; a group of young Indian and Pakistani cricket players playing together as the Maverick XI. It was also our first official cricket match, after spending months playing, what we call “tape ball cricket”...... More!!! |

This was Toulouse CCs first game together and they won the toss and elected to bowl on a wicket that was green, with the conditions overcast. The outfield was hairy.
The Toulouse bowling was impressive and for the most part very accurate as the Noé openers Pete and Clive set about building up a solid base.......More!!! |

There were five teams taking part: St. Aulaye, Bordeaux, Angouleme, Ourselves and Thénac. A draw would decide who played whom, each team playing two matches. We were drawn against Bordeaux and Angouleme........More!!! |
